Interests: Gene enjoys football, automobiles, and initiated a project which takes a group of Mariposa students to Mexico each year to build an orphanage.
Comments: After several years of extensive travel as a real estate franchise executive, returned to his first love: mountain and recreational real estate. Actively involved in the community, he served as Director of John C. Fremont Hospital, Past President of the Board of Realtors and the Mariposa Rotary Club, Member of State Congressman Montieth's Business Advisory Board, and active in the Mariposa Economic Development Commission. His sense of integrity and ethics is well-respected in the community, and Sierra Gold is a reflection of his high standards. Recently Gene and Kay have transferred the ownership of Sierra Gold to to Kevin Christiansen,Broker who has several Century 21 offices in central California and they, with Gene as manager and agent will continue to provide Mariposa a business environment with the highest ethical standards, a friendly no pressure environment, increased technology and service to their clients and customers far beyond what was expected.
